This has to be, by far...one of the most inspirational moments I've ever seen. I actually watched this episode of American Ninja Warriors the day it aired and I could hardly believe my eyes. The drive, the dedication, the commitment Zach Gowen had to "try". What more can anyone ask for?
As you saw, Zach didn't win. He didn't even come close to finishing the obstacle. But that didn't matter. That was not the point. He defied all odds by beating his cancer diagnosis at the age of 8 years old, beating his drug addiction that almost killed him, then found his purpose in helping others to see the gift they had inside of him.
That is one of your gifts too. The things you go through aren't just for you. They are for others to see "how" you went thru it, how you go thru it and how strong you have become afterwards. Life isn't about the challenges we face, it is about the way we handle the challenges that come to us. They are going to come. I remember an inspirational speaker said "You're either headed to a problem, in the middle of a problem or just got out of a problem." What problems or issues or obstacles have you faced in your life, that later you had to share with others on how you became a conquerer?
We can apply this to any area of our lives. Statically speaking, most people have a love hate relationship with weight loss. The hate part of the relationship wins more often than not. However, what most people don't realize is that it is a journey. It is a commitment you first make to yourself. It won't be easy sometimes. It sometimes won't be rewarding, but if you stay the course and do "uncommon things," such as Zach did in this video, you are bound to get "uncommon results." Further, you'll have people in your corner cheering you on to the finish line. Let's do this together and lose all those unwanted pounds. With us, you'll get support, recipes and so much more to help you on your journey. Join us today!
